Adrian Leach and Mark Taylor have shared their love for music for a combined 50 years. Always looking out for the unusual, independent sparks of musical creativity, they developed a taste for the sounds of Jazz and associated genres (particularly from South America) and beyond. We aim to bring you the undiscovered club bangers and shine a light on the ever changing new music from around the world, whilst acting as a reminder to the classics that are sadly overlooked by many shows today. Formerly of www.soul24-7.com and regular contributors of guest mixes to www.cosmicsounds-london.com, www.waxingdeep.org and live appearances at the Brighton Jazz rooms, Shiftless Shuffle, etc. The Happy Jazz show also had the privilege to interview George Duke, Paul Murphy, Perry Hemus, Zeljko Kerlata (Cosmic Sounds) and we hope you enjoy the output and welcome you're comments.
The Happy Jazz philosophy is simple. It's a part of our lives that makes us happy. Music can be taken seriously if you want but if you do not enjoy it, and it does not evoke a happiness within you, then why have ears?
