The forwardsbackwards show is the brainchild of Nigel prankster (3hedz) and Nik Weston (mukatsuku records).

Both are well respected Dj's in the UK who have travelled extensively to bring their eclectic brand of underground dance music (everything from funk , soul, Nu Jazz, Hip hop, bossa, techno, folk and everything between) to an ever expanding worldwide audience. They'll be showcasing the best upfront nu music coming from the States, the UK, Europe, Australasia and of course Japan, where 'Nippon' Nik is a frequent visitor and a champion of the sights and sounds from the land of the rising sun.

You'll also get plenty of old skool gems that'll take you back to where it all came from, so don't be suprised to find the likes of Newban, Quartette tres bien, Model 500 and Benny Galson rubbing shoulders with nu skool music from karizma, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Moodyman and Owusu & Hannibal.

If you're in London, catch Nik playing at his regular night 'Onwards International' in London's west end and also frequently Djing alongside for some of the musical great's at the Jazz cafe, Camden.

You can catch Nigel spinning at his regular Big Chill Bar slot in trendy 'Brick Lane, East London.
